2. Unplug All Electronics
Even though opinions vary on whether unplugged electronics use power, it’s best to play it safe. Leaving electronics plugged in, especially those without surge protectors, poses a fire risk. At a minimum, ensure that heat-producing devices, like coffee makers and toasters, are unplugged.
3. Shut Off the Water Supply
